Hey all! I have been using MerpMod for a while now, and am running the 2006 STI merpmod patched rom. This is not a super serious inquiry, but I'd like to add burbles to minimal throttle deceleration by using negative timing at low engine load. I have a friend who has accomplished this with his 16-bit carberry patch, but since I have Merpmod 32-bit as well as AVCS, our patches are quite different. I have tried removing timing on the Base Timing Table (both table A and tables 1 for intelligent, sport, and sport sharp), as well as zero'd out my AVCS values at the same RPM/engine load values, but upon checking logs, my ECU is still using the old timing values (around 47-43 degrees) during the same RPM/engine load values. Is there something going on inside the ECU preventing this, or maybe I haven't set up the tune properly? If anyone has any ideas, let me know! I plan to be able to switch maps so I don't run the burble all the time since it can be obnoxious, but it would be fun to have this ability. Attached is a picture of how my timing tables are setup, but maybe I missed a table somewhere? Thanks again!

Joining this, My buddy has a 13 STI that I have been tuning and he REALLY wants burbles... cannot seem to make it happen unless he gives slight throttle on decel.

There is a few ways to make burbles, you can either have it on slightly throttle, that way you can have it "on demand", or you can have it on the decel timing tables, but it will activate everytime.

Personally I like the on demand more for a basic approach.

Or you can develop a MerpMod patch in order to have those burbles on a certain mapswitch without having to touch the throttle, that way it's on demand and you don't need to give it throttle.

You can even disable fuelcut in a certain mapswitch, I wonder what that will do :)
