am not the originator of this thread. but... imo 240hp with the m54b30 cam in a b28 with m50 would be hard to reach. i mean the m54b30 has only 230hp and that the m50 mani is superior to the m54b30 mani is also a myth imo.

you would need more agressive cams like s52 cams to come close to 240hp on a b28

Thank you for following through with the measurements. Were you able to measure before/after the changes you made to fuel maps?

Also are you happy with the result? I have the exact same mods and engine + a long tube header (supersprint design) & resonated trackpipe and exhaust (similar to Active Autowerke). I have yet to do any measurements though. From what i've seen on forums these mods are supposed to bring the power out to about 240hp, 228hp seems a bit far off :(

Unfortunately I did not measure it in stock form but judging by air mass I think it had close to stock power.
My engine is a bit tired, it only has 8.5 bar to 9 bar (~127 psi) compression on all cylinders so it might be a bit down on power.
240HP with 240/240 cams and M50 Manifold seems to be a bit optimistic, but might be doable on a very healthy engine on a favorable dyno. The correction factor of the dyno also has a big impact, corrected via DIN my engine "has" 233 HP, only 7 off from 240.

But I'm happy with the setup and result, I think It's hard to beat in terms of bang for buck. The Dyno result is only number anyway
