Bought a 2009 and added some mods on a start to 400hp(for now) still gotta save up for better trans clutch and turbo.
Looking for a safe first time startup tune and safe regular driving (75 80mph highway). From what I understand the larger injectors and uel headers will need to be accounted for in the tune but not when. Or is she safe to start up on her "safe tune" on the cobb v3 he had?

you'll need to find a cobb tuner to get you a tune for the accessport - if you're going opensource then start with a stock tune and make some adjustments around the injector scale/latency/lowpulsewidth settings to get you up and running then use the wideband readings to dial it all in nicely. If your plan is 400hp I'd also be factoring in an engine build as the 2.5 will drop a ringland at standard power so 400hp your chances of long term success are much lower unfortunately.

I have a tactrix and some experience playing with my impreza's tune. Also have someone who helps me out on that so he's interested in playing with this as well. TY for the advice. It has an RA short block. I will eventually be aiming for 600 and going built. I don't plan on pushing her past 350 till after I get a STI 6MT, clutch, and turbo (she's rocking the stock one still.

What changes will I need to make to the stock tune due to the 3 port boost controller?
