I can only get to about 90% requested torque in 1st and 2nd gear which obviously affects my peak boost and keeps the throttle plate opening at a max of 85% in those gears.

My ECU definitions (AE5K410E) do not have tables for per gear compensations - is there another way to work around these limits?

do you have a log for that? last time i had a dig into that rom i believe it had 3x max allowed torque tables but they were all set to 500 - it's more likely going to be target throttle plate position or something along those lines holding you back. Post up your rom and your log sure?

*edit* looking in scoobyrom at the stock file downloaded off here i think its the table at AAACC:

Thanks for the reply.

I'll post up ROM and log later when I get back on that computer.

I didn't know about ScoobyRom - I'll have a look at that table you pointed out.

Thanks! Your reply is much appreciated.

Edit: Here's a screenshot of my log for now, second gear. I can only hit full requested toque in 3-6.

yeah i can see that 318 requested torque, but you could always rescale your target boost tables to 310 maximum that way 318 would guarantee your maximum boost target in all gears. That being said your not hitting your target boost anyway you need more duty in there.

Look at the throttle open angle though - sitting around 70% that could be the other DBW table that limits how much the throttle can actually open. Take a look at yours and take a look at a comparable wrx/sti rom they don't have the low opening limit so you'd see an immediate gain just by allowing the throttle plate to open fully.

Huge thanks to both of you for the help.
I got that ironed out, now I can continue working on tighter boost control for the lower gears.
