I then also tried to lower the Minimum Engagement Speed B and I set both A and B to 20, but to no avail - it still clunks out at 32. I made a little discovery recently - with an unmodified ECU, the lowest speed at which I can activate cruise control, is 37 km/h. However, if I then get the car to slow down (going up-hill or by using the hand brake), it will keep CC activated all the way down to 33 km/h. So the tables that we have defined only sets the minimum / maximum speed of activation / engagement, but there is another limit defining the minimum speed at which CC stays activated / engaged. So I opened my ROM file in a hex editor and started searching for value 33 represented as a 32-bit big-endian float - and there are 2. One is at 0xC07A0 and the other is at 0xC375C and searching for these values as 32-bit integers, I did find them at 0x1AAD4 and 0x63040 respectively - I guess these are references to the addresses, so they are 'something' significant. Now I'm stuck again and clueless about how to find out what these two addresses are and if one is related to cruise control lower limit, how to define it in the XML so I can than use RR to change / lower that value to 25. I'm pretty sure I can't just change it in the hex editor and expect to have it flashed successfully, surely there are checksums that would prevent that, right?

I did, but I figured that since Low Limit in the table is 37 and that is actually the lowest velocity where I can engage CC, the lower limit for CC functioning would also be the last round KP/H where it still works. But either way I don't know what to do with that.

JDM Forester XT MT From C1AD4 to C1AE0. thanks for that - sorry it took me a while to test. I have put into xml for ecuedit and I am assuming the values are as std 35 for the mins and 102 for the max as this is what the 16 bit big endean works out as i think. I could only see 2 mins and 2 maxs in that area of the hex file that equate back to this although tbf I dont think in hex so cant be 100% sure. Will changes the max values and test

When an ecu has the 8 Min/Max settings have we figured out what each does? throttlehappy wrote: Hex Values for the JDM 2L LGT is 42 14 00 00 42 20 00 00 42 18 00 00 42 14 00 00 42 1C 00 00 43 10 00 00 42 DC 00 00 42 D2 00 00 43 7A 00 00 43 10 00 00 for anyone else looking Thanks to Oren for finding them in A2ZJD01A 2005 Outback XT A2WC521R had the same hex starting at C19A8 (seems like all 2005 dbw turbo models may have this hex somewhere). Added 33 to all max settings and confirmed the change was successful. Still curious when each of the four settings are in effect.

Hello gentlemen! Definitions for cruise parameter adjustments were provided above. td-d wrote: EE5K000K Code: Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Min_A C1A1C Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Max_A C1A20 Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Min_B C1A24 Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Max_B C1A28 Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Min_C C1A30 Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Max_C C1A34 Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Min_D C1A40 Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Max_D C1A44 Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Min_E C1A4C Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Max_E C1A50 Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Min_F C1A54 Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Max_F C1A58 Unfortunately, after adding these lines to the EE5K000K definition in Ecuflash, only the first four lines are displayed. All the others are hidden and invisible. After changing the speed values from 114 km/h to 250 km/h, there are no changes. As there was a limit of 114, it remained so. Despite the fact that the parameters were changed. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I would be grateful for any help in resolving this issue.

For the AZ1xxxxx series ECU, look for 43 C8 00 00 3F 80 00 00 The next 4 values will be the two Min and then the 2 max values
AZ1G502L for example, has them starting at c1c14, which then becomes:
<table name="Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Min_A" category="EXPERIMENTAL Oren" address="c1c1c" type="1D" level="1" scaling="rawecuvalue"/>
<table name="Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Min_B" category="EXPERIMENTAL Oren" address="c1c20" type="1D" level="1" scaling="rawecuvalue"/>
<table name="Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Max_A" category="EXPERIMENTAL Oren" address="c1c24" type="1D" level="1" scaling="rawecuvalue"/>
<table name="Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Max_B" category="EXPERIMENTAL Oren" address="c1c28" type="1D" level="1" scaling="rawecuvalue"/>
