If you're working with a JDM EJ205 AVCS setup:
Start with the stock ROM for your ECU
Pull 2–3° of timing across the board as a safe baseline
Run wastegate pressure only (zero out boost targets)
Log everything, review, and ramp up slowly from there

do you have any logs of the car running? Easier to get an idea of how the tune is working out if you have a log as well.

Also as a side note you should consider switching to carberry rom for the 16bit cars it will make your life a little easier I find.
