03 wrx running carberry. I see the logger has an option to read codes but when I click it I get an error about definition files. Is there a definition file that supports reading/clearing codes or do I just keep using my little plug in scanner?

it should be able to, maybe your missing one of the setup files (cars def/ecu def/logger updates etc.) hard to say without knowing specifically what the error message is.

I have a similar issue, specifically when using the carberry definition for the logger. My solution is to just use the normal logger v370 definition if I need to read trouble codes. Or look at the flkc table.
I considered seeing if I can mix and match the 2 definitions to make something that works but I'm far more likely to completely brick something

Looks like romraider uses <ecuparam> "E173" to define the flkc table. The carberry def has the "E173" id assigned to knock reset counter. Copied the carberry def "E173" to the end of the param list and gave it the id "E187". Then I took the "E173" parameter from the standard v370 def file replaced the existing carberry "E173" and that worked. Have a clean table atm but it didn't pull crazy values out of thin air either.

Honestly I copied a lot over from the v370 def file (including DTCs which appear to be working) before I found E173. Though it seems to work just the same so I'm rolling with it.
