Hey Everyone
I've built a new rally car based on the ADM 2009 Impreza 2.0i and keeping OEM at the moment.
I'd like to make some changes in the ECU.
Is there any compatibility between the current supported ECU definitions that would equally work here?

whats the ROM on your ECU currently there may well be definitions already for it.

I'll have to come back to you. ECU Flash does not seem to keep old log files and my Taxtrix failed and have ordered a new one.

Just found an old log that had the serial/model appearing before it closed connection. Does that help? 97e5d42f

Whats to not support, its still a Subaru, I believe that private businesses have kit such as EcuTek. Whats the limit here?

Depending of the version, FastECU will support reading and writing. There is now few protocols on it's way also so full support of these older Hitachi ECUs is really close.

Curious as EcuFlash says it supports 2007+ Can Subaru Hitachi, I guess limited models

EcuFlash has only SH7058 (Denso) support for 2007+ CAN, Hitachis are 2013+. And if you hve WA12212970WWW MCU inside ECU (most likely), EcuFlash has no support for those.

Mine cant be a Hitachi then, its from a 2010. Will have to rescan once the new adapter arrives.

Subaru has had Hitachi ECUs somewhere around 2003 onwards and Unisia Jecs 99 onwards which are basicly the same as Hitachi (Hitachi bought Unisia Jecs in 2002) with minor changes, mostly how to access ECU.

It should be m32r. Either way, if seed fails you used wrong protocol. Send you PM on FastECU forum.
