I downloaded your map, very nice, congratulations, what changes should I make to make it fit my 09 sti hatchback EDM with the same hardware as you?

just copy the changes across to your EDM map and then log it.

I transferred all the tables to my original rom and then flashed on my '10 EDM, the car seems ok, much more power and reactivity, but my hardware is this:
- full decat exhaust 70mm
-blow off open Forge
-Kyorad water radiator
-KillerB oil sump
- OEM intake with K&N filter
- samco silicone kits.
Is the legendracer97 ROM ok for my configuration? this one: 08stibaseversion3.bin.zip

UPDATE:

12/13/2014 - minor revisions to timing and fueling and MAF scaling. Added MAF IAT compensations for better adjustments to seasonal changes.

UPDATE:

6/17/2014 - revised the fueling to address a drift in AFRs when the ambient temps rise. Also added some timing in corresponding areas based on fueling adjustments.

UPDATE:

6/6/2014 - I booked a dyno session at Kaizen Tuning to see what the car was putting down. Rev 67 was used for the measurements. Some general info on the session:

Dyno: dyno dynamics
Temps: mid 70s
Numbers: car put down 250HP/275TQ which I was told are strong numbers for a stage 2 STI on this dyno. Stock GR STI puts down, on average, 200HP on this dyno. The power graph from the session is attached.

I'd like to recognize my friend Gienek for donating money to cover a good portion of the dyno run cost. Thanks Gienek!

UPDATE:

5/22/2014 - addressed couple issues based on feedback received: revised the DBW profile and some WGDCs to improve low RPM response, adjusted based ignition timing maps in mid and high RPMs/high loads since several users reported that their cars do not tolerate the dialed in timing. So, the default ROM now runs with lower timing in those areas. Folks with better gas can adjust the timing to suit their cars (my car included).

Tactrix/Grimmspeed BCS ROM - rev68

UPDATE:

12/14/2013 - minor revisions to CL load compensation tables

Tactrix/Grimmspeed BCS ROM - rev65

UPDATE:

11/16/2013 - minor revisions to AVCS, revised tip-in enrichment to improve throttle response, minor misc tweaks in other maps

Tactrix/Grimmspeed BCS ROM - rev63

UPDATE:

8/30/2013 - added low wastegate version of the ROM for folks that are significantly overshooting their targets

Tactrix/Grimmspeed BCS ROM - rev46

UPDATE:

6/7/2013 - made some additional revisions in AVCS and timing. I've been running this ROM for the past 2 weeks and I am very happy with it. I am dropping BETA designation since I feel this ROM is pretty close to the final product.

Tactrix/Grimmspeed BCS ROM - rev46

UPDATE:

5/7/2013 - revised fueling, timing and boost control to improve drivability, optimize fuel economy and reign in some overboosting in high gears. Applied per gear timing compensations to improve low gear driviability and add more safety to higher gears. Added minor tweaks to AVCS in some areas. 1 beta tester reported that the ROM works correctly on Grimmspeed BCS. Would like to get more samples on that.

Tactrix/Grimmspeed BCS ROM - rev42

ORIGINAL

Tactrix BCS ROM - rev11

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This ROM is intended for USDM 2011 STI running on 93 octane, with a turboback exhaust and Tactrix EBCS. The map is based off ECU ID AE5I910V.

If you'd like to convert this map to stock BCS, all you have to do is revise the wastegate maps. Raising the WGDCs by 15% at and above 340 requested torque would be a good start.

General map notes:

- max target boost is set at 18.5psi

- fueling is set at 11.3 in high loads and RPMs, verified with WB

- EGTs hit 1500F at 6000 RPMs, verified with EGT probe

- timing is moderate and should suit most users on 93 octane. If you're getting good dose of ethanol in your gas, you can raise the timing in mid to high RPMs and high loads to take advantage of the alcohol additive.

  • I see no major knock while running the maps
  • generous FBKC values in 'listening' ranges so ECU has room to pull back
  • IAM is set to 1 from the beginning so you don't have to wait for it climb up over time

- SI drive is set up as follows:
  • I - daily driver mode with fuel economy in mind, throttle profile is less aggressive across the board than S mode, max boost targets reduced by about 15% than S mode, CL/OL transition delay has been increased to improve fuel economy
  • S - daily driver mode, 0%-64% throttle has a moderate profile, lower boost targets in 0%-64% throttle, max boost targets in >64% throttle area same as sport#
  • S# - fun mode, a more aggressive throttle profile in 0%-64% throttle range, the upper range is the same as S mode

- AVCS is set up for reasonable fuel economy in cruising situations and optimal power in higher loads and RPMs
  • advanced intake valve and minimal overlap in low RPMs to promote better low end torque
  • moderate valve overlap in mid range RPMs and low loads (cruising situations) to improve fuel economy
  • minimal valve overlap in high loads for maximum torque across the entire RPM range
  • I used my VE logging formula to evaluate my AVCS changes. The details are included in this thread: link

I included RomRaider and EcuFlash ECU definitions for convenience. Enjoy!

how is it possible only 250hp after your modified rom? It originally has 300 on the engine, a little less on the wheel
