Hello,
I am attempting to troubleshoot some odd behavior by my V36 skyline.
It is JDM import 2008 6speed VQ37.
I have used NissanDataScan(or Nisscan) software to dump the rom, it is 1024kb (early models were 1MB before changing to 1.5MB if I understand correct?)
According to the dump, it is 1JL04B (which aligns with ECU part number found by VIN search on partsouq)

I must stress that this .bin file is NOT stock.
It has been tuned for forced induction (approx 10years ago) so not sure if the tables will still suit the definition file.

If you have the definition file, will be great to hear from you.
Thanks

This ROM is very interesting. It is full of 16x16 and 8x8 maps. I usually deal with VQ35 ROMs, so that may be why this is so unique to me. It has three maps that look similar to the high octane, high det, and cold MBT I usually see, but that is where the similarities end. Sorry, I don't have more information about which map does what; I just took a peek in wols and found it interesting. Do you remember how it was tuned? I attached some screenshots and the wols project in case someone else would like to have a look.

you have a multimap, probably uprev if it has been done 10 years ago. Now you have to find full ori file

I can tell you it was tuned using UpRev, well, at least that is what the previous owner told me and showed me receipts for.
My understanding with the multimap is that feature was only available with the cruise control buttons to switch between maps, or the 1.0MB ECU didn't have enough storage?
My car does not have cruise control and has the earlier 1.0MB ECU.
Though, maybe the maps still get loaded and they just don't get used, or there was an option to switch maps if you kept the tuning cable and laptop handy?

I will check out the WOLS project.
Does WOLS have a feature to compare 2 roms side by side?
I have a 1JL04A stock file (but also no definition), would be interesting to see if the maps appear in the same locations and/or if they change map sizes.
