This project came to a halt, but I need to get started on it again. This time, time has worked in my favor — if I dare trust ChatGPT. It has come up with some good suggestions for scaling the MAP sensor. Does anyone have experience using ChatGPT for that?

I have played with it a bit. Be very careful, Chatgpt will tend to agree with you regardless of the facts. Double, triple check on any recommendations. I strongly suggest small changes, <5%. Make sure that change did what you expect, then make another change. I have definitely gone the wrong direction to start and if it had been a large change that would have been really bad.
