Hey all new to the forum, searching for a base map for an 08 OBXT 5MT with a Cobb catted DP. Got the car going not too super long ago and it's got pretty bad MPG so I suspect nothing was tuned in with the previous owner any help at all is greatly appreciated and I'm happy to join the forums!

ideally pull the rom off the car first to confirm the rom ID as it will make it easier to search for on here. A catted downpipe wouldn't take much to tune in anyway so you can always just log the car and tune it to suit the mods.

So I tried pulling the tune and ECUFlash refused to even communicate with the ecu beyond realizing that it's connected. I don't really know how to proceed from here do I just flash a stock tune on and baby it or? Pretty soon looking at swapping a bunch of fun parts over from my other build so I gotta know if I can flash a tune for sure

Sounds like the ECU is married to a cobb accessport. Bummer.

Any way to remedy that? Ideally without spending loads of cash haha

If you can find someone else with an accessport, unmarry from their car, marry to your car, unmarried from your car and marry back to their car then your ecu will be unlocked and they can load their tune back on again.

Failing that you'd be looking at a recovery/bench flash - you can look up the shboot cable on here for clues

So, Buddys accessport was a bust cause its the wrong version accessport apparently the facelift obxt/lgt has a different accessport revision. Found some guy on a NOISAC forum who claims he can unlock a cobb locked ecu remotely. A tad skeptical but I'm bout willing to try anything short of spending big $$$. Gonna give that a go tomorrow (unless any red flags come up) and I'm crossing my fingers on it real hard

im getting ready to unmarry my cobb accessport for 05 Legacy GT USDM Sub-002 AT trans. look up on google if it is compatible Id Sell it cheap so you can sell it cheap when youre done : )

travigram, something else occurred to me while I was flashing today and I read your post a couple weeks ago. Did you connect the green connectors under the glove box?

A friend lent me his Anxietyport so I could unlock the ECU again
Have been running it on the "Stage 2" ots tune for a while, been alright. Definitely will be pursueing an open source tune though haha.
