Hi all.

Complete novice when it comes to very indepth engine tuning so after some advice/discussion.
I have blown up my b30 and had a TUB28 kicking around. Quick bit of googling/discussions with friends and I built an M52TUB30.
M52TUB28 block, pistons, crank, and exhaust manifold
M54B30 head, cams, valves, injector, intake manifold and MAF.
0.7mm headgasket as there was concerns with valves potentially hitting piston heads
Car is running on MS43, but obviously is not running properly as cam angles are different, VANOS values are different and piston stuff is different blahblahblah. From what I gather, I should be able to replicate some tables from a M52TUB28 onto an MS43 so that my pistons and chambers are accounted for in terms of mixture, but do I leave my VANOS tables the same?
Alternatively, am I better trying to start with an MS42 base file, copy all values into the B30 file, and then scale the MAF from 2.8 values to 3.0 values, adjust the intake cam to the correct 3.0L degrees, and then map in a catless tune as it has 0 cats now... and it should work?

Any help/input is appreciated.
Many thanks.

If i where you, flash the m54b30 file on ms43 and then tune fuel and check knock tables for ignition retard.

ms42 and ms43 tables arent the same names and axis
