Thank you, unfortunately that did not work. Editing these xml's is such a crap shoot. I have attached a screen shot of what's in the nissandefs.xml. For some reason the K value is the only one not showing up. I guess I will just take this as a hint and leave it be

Understood. Thanks again for the assistance, I did manage to fumble my way through and get it to work.
The next road block for me is nisprog, kernels and ini files. Off to search I go.

Hi everyone,
I read through this Micra/March definition thread and I think I can help with a few recurring issues.
1. Definitions not loading / “ECU definitions not found”
This is often caused by a small XML error or an incorrect defs folder structure / nissandefs.xml path. If needed, I can share a minimal “sanity-check” XML + a known-good folder layout to confirm the setup.
2. K-Value / Fuel Injector Multiplier not showing in RomRaider
On these Micra/March defs, RomRaider often only displays that scalar if it is named exactly “K-Value” (even if the storage address is correct). If “Fuel Injector Multiplier” is missing, renaming it to K-Value usually makes it appear.
3. Porting an XML definition to another ROM revision (same ECU family)
Instead of rewriting definitions from scratch for every SH7054 MEC37 revision, we can usually port a “master” definition by doing a BIN-to-BIN diff / offset mapping and translating all table/axis addresses, then verifying using a few anchor tables (ignition, idle ignition, etc.) and confirming lookup/interpolator call sites in Ghidra.
CRC / checksum:
I am attaching my web-based CRC tool (HTML) which I have verified on my Micra/March SH7054 ROMs (works 100% in my tests). I’m doing this as a hobby project, and a lot of the motivation came from the great work by fergulec and the nissutils tooling.
If anyone is actively maintaining Micra/March definitions, I’m happy to share my current calibration findings (tables + axes, confirmed vs candidates) and collaborate. Please reply here or PM me and I can send the files.
