Hi all,
I've been tuning my engine for deka60s and yesterday i had an issue start where after i flashed a tune(still tuning idle) , my o2 narrowband voltage was 4.8v and stft are disabled, this "fixes" itself after running for a while as the car heats up, i start getting intermittent valid o2 voltage readings but there re still maybe spikes above 1v which usually go to 4.8v.
Spikes in o2 voltage happen few times a secons which makes me feel i cannot trust my stft when o2 is intermittently working.
I have tried probing the sensor and the o2 loom, it seems that all is in order, i tries grounsing the o2 sensor on the engine which did nothing, rewired o2 sensoe just in case, same but the break my be before my wiring if there is one.
I work in 1 channel mode, so i tried both sensors in bank1 and both display the same issue, ans same after i rewired one of them.
I removed both exhaust and intake manifold and i am so confused by now, but im starting to believe that i might need to start checking for vacuum leaks in the intake manifold gaskets, although spraying carm cleaner on manifold gaskets did nothing.
Or remove exhaust manifold and replace gaskets.. I am thinking this as the engine sounds like its ticking more after installing the deka 60s.
Any ideas or leada which could help resolve this?
Thanks.
isnt it useless monitoring voltage of titania type o2 sensors which comes with ms41?
i think you need to tune your warm up enrichment table if things get better after warm up,
relying on o2 sensors to do warm up enrichment doesnt work
