if you have the stage 0, you can just cut and past his maps to this rom.
Those throttle tables are in the ROM, you just can't access them yet.

I also sent the test defs to Gabe. He should be testing soon. Since he has a lot of logs showing the throttle lag, we should be able to see basically a back to back difference.

I finally got around to combining IRSX's throttle map with Gabe's changes, and re-scaling the MAF (helps with the SPT intake, I've found) and flashed it all on the little blue beast.
Ummm... wow. Obviously, the the performance WOT is no different, but it feels like a completely different animal in every other way. Instant response to the accelerator, not having to nail it to the floor to merge in traffic, what a difference. It took a few minutes of driving around to get comfortable with how sensitive the throttle actually is to minor changes now.
The only change I might make (if I knew how) would be to make it a little bit less sensitive for the first 15% or so, just to make it a little easier to handle in tight quarters. Parking lots, bumper to bumper traffic and the like. But honestly, I'd give it few days before I did that. I'm really used to how you can put it halfway to the floor and not get much out of. I imagine you get used to the new way as well.
Thanks, guys. With a little help, this car is turning out to be everything I wanted out of it!
P.S. The MAF rescaling I'm currently using is 5% less than stock from about 32 on up. The car responded favorably. I don't know why exactly, but WAG suggests the intake causes turbulence at the sensor, making the car run slightly rich. There is one other person trying it out also, if his responds favorably, I will post the file for others to review (or use.)

I have been working on the throttle now constantly for the last two weeks. I have made vast improvements in it. The power is much more linear, the boost can be modulated with your foot and the car is 200% more driveable. I believe the map I posted still has the car at full throttle around 70 percent. sorry.
I'll get one of those posted up somewhere. It'll be the IRSX stage 0.5

I did a bit of poking around on my own after gathering what information I could from this thread. If this new throttle map you guys seem to have discovered does indeed work as a lookup table of sorts for the current Throttle Actuator Duty table, then the picture I have attached is the difference in throttle mapping between the 06 and 07 STI, its almost comical the differences.. For these graphs I've assumed linear interpolation between the two maps, which may or may not be correct. In any case the graphs are likely fairly close to what is actually happening. Just thought some may find it interesting.

yeah, it's pretty bad.
The updates are out for those wanting to improve the 07 sti throttle response. I love mine!

Getting antsy for a new map for my STI. One of the downsides of living in AR is there are NO tuners around for about 350 miles, or I would be protuned asap. Can't wait for the new map Gabe. If you need another test mule, I'd be happy to help.
