I need volunteers to log the stock map with at least one tank of gas run through it before logging (I need long term fuel trim data on stock cars).

I need the following logged at idle, cruise and WOT to past 4400 RPM:

Air/Fuel Correction #1 (%)
Air/Fuel Learning #1 (%)
Air/Fuel Sensor #1 (AFR)
CL/OL Fueling (status)
Engine Load (Calculated) (g/rev)
Engine Speed (rpm)
Injector Duty Cycle (%)
Manifold Rel. Pressure (Corrected) (psi)
Mass Air Flow (g/s)
Throttle Opening Angle (%)
Vehicle Speed (mph)

Progress so far:

I have a test map running that uses some delay and has the fixed throttle (feels like an 06 STI). It is smooth, but I need to run it for a few days to see where the LTFT settles at. I will then need testers for the Alpha version of the stage 0. After that, I will make a Stage 1 with leaner fueling and 0'd delays for ultimate smoothness and will need more testers. :D

Thanks!

Gabe

I would love to help out with the stage0 and stage1 maps.

I hope you can find someone to log with the original subaru map, I refuse to put it back on my car, lol.

If your IDCs are ok, then I may have a better test map for you that will give me some data. ;)

My IDC are fine with your stage0 that I'm running now. I'd definately be interested in running your newest map and giving you some feedback. Just let me know what you would like to see logged and I'd be happy to help.

Hopefully I can get it done this weekend and test next week.

Gabe, I'll reflash the stock map and log for you to help if needed. The only thing is I've got the SPT intake and CBE, and don't want to screw you up with bad data. Let me know if you want it anyway.

Thanks!

You can edit this rom currently. Make sure you update to the latest ecu definitions, which can be newer than what is included with the RomRaider download:
http://www.RomRaider.org/about360.html

Also update to the latest logger definitions which will add additional log items for your ecu:

I have done this, but stil nothing - it say's "ecu not recognised" :(
and thats with the RomRaider editor
Maybe my entire install is a mess,is it possile to go through the complete install - step by step , or is it not possible to do the business in openecu ?
Can we communicate in the private mail box?or even on this page if the other chaps don't mind?

Do you have multiple installs of RomRaider? If so, I would remove all of them and remove any shortcuts on desktop, then download and reinstall RomRaider 0.4.1b. Then:

1. Download the ecu defs from links above.
2. Unzip the ecu_defs.xml file into the RomRaider directory replacing the existing file.

Remember, the ecu defs will only work with RomRaider, not any other editor.

Well unfortunatly I have been unable to log my 07 STi, for some strange reason it decided to throw a P0420 code 2 days ago, It is having some extended cranking, fairly rough idle, and feels like there is no power at all if you press the gas. I had it the other day when I cranked it up idled down extremely low to where it almost died, the lights on the dash started coming on like it was dead but it was still running and racking badly, then after about 15 sec of that went up to where it should have been idleing and seemed fine...

I am taking it to the dealership tomorrow to see what the hell is going on.

Catalytic system inefficiency... ie no rear cat

as far as logging is concerned, will it not connect? Or have you not attempted. I find that if I have a hard time logging there are lots of things that'll help. What program are you using?

well yeah, it's an 07! :) :P

sounds like an injector scaling or MAF setting issue. What are your mods?

you sure that's the best idea? There is lots of help here and on other forums.

I have been working on the throttle now constantly for the last two weeks. I have made vast improvements in it. The power is much more linear, the boost can be modulated with your foot and the car is 200% more driveable. I believe the map I posted still has the car at full throttle around 70 percent. sorry.

I'll get one of those posted up somewhere. It'll be the IRSX stage 0.5 ;)

Did you ever post your IRSX stage 0.5? If you did, where?

Thanks,

TurboNut
