Well unfortunatly I have been unable to log my 07 STi, for some strange reason it decided to throw a P0420 code 2 days ago

Catalytic system inefficiency... ie no rear cat

as far as logging is concerned, will it not connect? Or have you not attempted. I find that if I have a hard time logging there are lots of things that'll help. What program are you using?

feels like there is no power at all if you press the gas.

well yeah, it's an 07! :) :P

I had it the other day when I cranked it up idled down extremely low to where it almost died, the lights on the dash started coming on like it was dead but it was still running and racking badly, then after about 15 sec of that went up to where it should have been idleing and seemed fine...

sounds like an injector scaling or MAF setting issue. What are your mods?

you sure that's the best idea? There is lots of help here and on other forums.

well the great part about it all is it is a completely stock car minus a catback exhaust, with 9,500 miles.

When I say no power when I push the gas I mean much worse than the normal also ;) I have been dealing with the crappy running for a while but all of the sudden everything went way downhill when I rolled over 8,500 miles. (I took a long trip this weekend and put a lot of miles on it this is where the problems worsened).

I gave gabedude my throttle maps.

they have been improved since then.
I should just post my rom with factory maf, fuel and boost pasted in for everyone to enjoy.

I'll do that on wednesday. Someone shoot me a friendly email to remind me.
Thanks!

I am not using your throttle maps. I have created my own that have been tested and work (get rid of the low speed jerkiness), but thanks for letting me look at them. ;)

Any idea why the Engine Load Compensation maps are so different between the USDM and EDM 07 STI? How do the values in this table influence calculated engine load? I assume they are percentage adjustments, but things are never so simple.

yes, they are percentage compensation of engine load (g/rev)

anyone else suffer from the gear shift boost delay? - basically when you shift gears, the boost lags for about a half second then climbs.

I get the same thing on the freeway. If I roll the throttle to about 8psi and hold it for about two seconds. Then put it to the floor, it takes a good 2 seconds before the car starts to look for target boost according to the target boost tables.

Is there possibly a fourth target boost table??

Lastly, is there a programmed overboost? I can battle it with wastegate duty tables, but it seems there is something else going on.

I know on really hard shifts there's something funky going on with the timing. Try logging ignition timing when it happens.

OK, all I changed was the 'Requested Torque" Map.

The map on the right is the stock, and the one on the left is the modified one.

Like i said, after changing this map, the problem went away.

I didn't know you had resolved it. You (or maybe it was someone else) was having the issue with hard shifts well before redline as well.

yeah, mine still does it even if i shift before redline. However, the gears go so quick that it's possible the tach lags. Wouldn't be the first car I've driven with a slow tach.
