Read this:

Your revision is supported by RomRaider and its definition file. You have revision A4SGA00C from an 02 WRX. The newest revision for that year is A4SGE01C

I'm talking to him on AIM right now, just sent him to get some logs. He's been having boost and hesitation problems since he took his unichip off. He recently replaced his aftermarket BOV with the stocker and my best guess so far is that there is a boost leak somewhere.

What map are you running (can you post it up)? What are your mods?

Oh, so he's not having a problem with target boost (since the logs look about right for a stock map), but he's having some other problem, like spool?

My problem seems more like spike then timing retard. I don't think im having a problem getting to target boost but the car just feel really, really slow. My boost seems to come on..........back off...........then come back on and tapper to redline. I know falling off is normal but something isnt right, i can just feel it in the car. Ive got a Bell mouth down pipe and blitza nur spec R cat back, panel filter and a MBC on the car.

Yeah, I didn't look closely enough before, but now I notice you are spiking pretty bad. I would take off the MBC and download one of ev8siv3's stage 2 maps at http://www.osecuroms.org/ (you'll have to register first). There's only stg 2 maps for the 05 wrx, but you can transfer the values to your revision. I started to transfer one them for the 02 wrx, maybe I'll finish it up sometime this week and submit it to ev8siv3 for review.

The wastegate duty cylcles on the stock map are too high for a stage 2 car, so it is no surprise you are spiking.

This sounds normal for a car with up pipe down pipe and no em right? (Boost Spikes because the WGD is too high due to reduced back pressure of the exhaust?)

This is a map I created for my friends 02 WRX. It's built on the base rom A4SGE01C and has boost targets of 15.5 psi. It runs well on his car and pulls just a tad of timming. Should be better that what your running now.

But of course I'm no pro . . . so use at your own risk.

I was just rereading this thread. . and it seems like you have a mechanical problem some where. If there is a problem mechanically, no map is going to help and more boost will just agvervate the problem. I would reccomend the stock map until you get the problem sorted out. (Or Verify there isn't one)

It's hard to say without more information. The most important thing is when the boost problems and hesitation started. Soon after removing the UTEC or immediately after taking off the BOV?

The boost issue happened soon after installing the MBC.. the BOV has been off for months so i know that isnt the problem. I just took off the UNICHIP last night so and it was giving me the same problem before and after. Here are the logs w/ the map i installed
