Wanted EJ22T Closed Deck Short Engine

Hi does anyone know where I can find one of these? Either new or used?

I'd even be interested in the block halves on their own.

In the US, at least, it appears that it's possible to order a "factory-new" short block for the 2.2L turbo Legacy from any Subaru dealer using P/N 10103AA310 (see http://endwrench.com/oepropdf/enginecomponents.pdf). I've not ever tried to buy one and have no idea about what the situation might be in Scotland.

Thanks Jon - that interesting as I've been in touch with 'Liberty Subaru' in the US and apparently the shortblock is no longer being supplied by Subaru. Same story from Subaru here in the UK. However I got the feeling that it was simply 'too hard' for them to ship one to the UK, rather than the part actually no longer being available. I'll certainly look into it.

the new ej22t from the dealer are opendeck. I can get you a ej20g closed deck for $500 usd comes with the crank.
