Can this be done? I have access to an 02 WRX ECU, I'd like to use it in my car if possible. It would allow me to use one of the ROMs that has been edited to go beyond 300g/s, improved CL/OL delay conrol, etc.
The issues I can think of would be any sensors that may have been added/deleted between MY's? I'm sure there are more, but I didn't come up with anything searching on NASIOC.

I've run a 04 ECU in a 02 wrx, and that worked, so I dont see why it wouldnt go the other way. There are no main harness changes between 02-05 that prevent it from working....

It works. I copied my tune in from my A4TF520F 04 ROM and away I went. A few tables in the 02 are slightly bigger, so I get a bit more resolution out of the deal as well
