Are you using the latest logger def or is all data just being filtered out? Well I went from svn from some recent date and rev785 to rev37. Copied in the xml's from the archive despite the older timestamp this afternoon, still complains about being able the same parameters, I believe they are ol/cl status, tip in throttle, and another. The first two I can definitely poll from the data tab. *shrug* I'll take a look from inside the debugger later unless you find it first.

I'm so happy that we finally have LM-1 integration. I used it yesterday and it worked great!! Thanks.

I've been testing your injector scaling. I'm on my 3rd iteration now, and the car still runs, so I guess thats a good sign.
I'm still reading up on injector tuning and would appreciate what items in the logger I can watch to gauge if your injector scaling code is honing in on the "correct" scaling and latencies. In general am I watching A/F Correction and A/F Learning to ensure they're between say +-5? Are these the long term and short term fueling items I occasionally hear about?
Will I notice bouncing around a local maxima after enough iterations are met?
Any things to help your development along that I can provide?

Any things to help your development along that I can provide? Well, let me first ask since I might have missed things wading through the posts in this thread. Are you to apply only one or the other between the latency and scaling modifications? I tried both for fun, and got to the point a value of "0" for 16volts in the latencies table was offered. I denied In any case, I just tuned my latencies by hand for now. Hit me up with any test cases I can run for you.

on the way home, today, I ran both injector and maf (.2 default). My MAF is +/- 5%, and the injector interpolation came up with 766cc, -.19 latency change suggestion.. (didn't make the changes, though..)
I also logged LTFT and STFT. A= +6.03, B= +.78, C= -.89, D= -.19
This is the 6th iteration of using the MAF tab on 037. My LTFT started out in the +/- 12-13% range..,

My LTFT started out in the +/- 12-13% range.., With those A/F Learning A-D values, I would increase the latencies by about 2% or better yet, decrease the bottom end of your MAF tabel by about 5% and blend it to keep it smooth. Not too bad though Rick. I think you are getting closer to havign the car right!

As with everything else when tuning your car you need to apply some thought before blindly applying the suggested values.

If you are happy with your current settings, don't change them.

I didn't look how you pulled table data from the ROM, but maybe you could add logic to detect when a minimum/maximum limit has been surpassed. Or not, I know how when I write software for selfish reasons, I generally stop when things work good enough *cough* utec logging thread issues *cough* meh

hey kascade , thanks so much for the new revision and all your hard work. i tried using the maf tool and the injector tool and for some reason it will not record any data. i then tried using rev785 with just the maf tool and the maf tool worked perfect there for me. any ideas?
Thanks Ray

Thanks Ray Make sure the temp ranges in either tool are correct. You'll have to see if you're logging in F or god forbid, C.
