Ever thought of switching to vbulletin? Not sure if it is free or not, though.

I've considered it but never really looked in to it. It's $80 a year or $250 for life, or thereabouts. I've never used it to see how it's better.

Probably not worth paying for, it is slightly different. I like the user subscriptions better.

A lot of people say it is quite a bit better. I really don't have the money to spend on it right now.. Maybe after we get some vendors and/or donations ;)

That money could buy you nice LCD. :D I just got a Samsung 20" LCD. My wife won a circuity city gift certificate at work and let me use it. It is pretty sweet. Still, you can find it for under $300.

Nice. Yeah, they sure do take up a lot of space. With my 19" CRT, I had my desk about a foot and half from the wall, now with the LCD, the desk is against the wall and I have a lot more desk space. The cat does not step on my keyboard anymore, which was kind of frustrating when your editing definitions. :D

Ooo.. cat. Never had that problem with my dog :P I dunno if you saw the picture but I'm actually using a kitchen table as a desk now. I had to saw the legs off a bit, but I now have a lot more space.

Ha, that's a good idea. I have one of those particle board computer desks. I found the biggest one out there (27 inches deep) and left off the big tray/storage section from the top. It looks like crap (the laminate is peeling off big time), but it works!

I'd had enough of the laminate desks, plus I don't think they'd support both of my monitors anyway, so I was determined to get something else, and cheap. This table was given to me by my old roommate. ;) My old desk was built in to the wall in a closet that wasn't insulated and I definately would not be getting any work done in the summer if I hadn't moved.
