I just wanted to say hello. I am new to the forum and am very excited about things I purchased a tactrix cable and just succesfully downloaded my rom. I have been reading up and have learned a lot of helpful information. However I feel I am not up to the task of trying to tune my car yet. There is just so much to learn. I would love to tryout someones elses basic map. I have tried to go to openecu but for some reason I can't register. It seems that everyone here is very friendly and everyone shares there knowledge and resources I am hoping I won't be too much of a burden in my ignorance and eventually become an asset to the comunity
We all (well most of us) started out the same way that you have, so dont really think of it as a burden. All of the guys on here are very helpful, and at first tuning is a 'scary' thing, always thinking if you are going to break your car and what not, but after a while it becomes alot easier and more fun, because you will actually know what is truely going on with your car.
