Uber-nub questions but I need to know how to log this stuff, I have a 2005 wrx and I wanted to know how I can monitor my realtime numbers. When I open ECUExplorer it says my ECU is disconnected. I have my opensource cable connected and are in test mode (need to be in test mode?). I put the iginition in "ON" and it doesn't notice my ECU after much thinking and deliberation I start my car and its idleing rough due to test mode but it still doesn't recognize the ECU... Can someone help me out? Thanks

You don't need to be in diagnostics "test" mode to use Ecuexplorer. Most likely you have the com port set up wrong. In the lower left hand corner of the screen you should see the available com port. The one that says SSM diagnostics is the com port it is set to. Try the others ones by right clicking on one of them and selecting ssm diagnostics. Then restart ecuexplorer. Do this until you find one that works.
