I can do a build pretty easily and post it. Not sure if thats kosher though. What would qoncept and other developers think? This build would have plenty of known issues. As, enough issues it wouldn't be supported

I did manage to download all the source and libraries (McAllisters has free wireless) but couldn't get the 3D graphing to work -- it couldn't find the libraries in the library path. Not sure what I need to do..? I added them in netbeans and it compiled fine but I'd get an exception at runtime.
I found a DSL modem hidden behind the phone in my room. It doesn't work but they tell me it should be fixed today. We'll see.

Something like..
java -Djava.library.path=C:\eng\lib\graphdist\windows\lib -jar RomRaider.jar
(make sure the graph3d jar is in your classpath)
the -Djava.library.path makes sure RomRaider can find the java3d dlls.

This is NOT just a graph I think you misuderstood the purpose of this RomRaider addition. This whole graph is user interractive. All cells are selectable, in groups or otherwise. Selected cells can have their values modified. Graph can be rotated to see the contours. I'm working on smoothing algorithms etc to modify the data also. I'm shooting for 3d rendering and map editing all in one. It saves screen realestate on smaller laptop screens. That and it kind of follows the way I think... all crazy like. I'll re-post the Readme.txt information. -Eric-
Cool! My big concern was that when viewing the graph all the lines need to be connected. In the picture above, when viewing a particular square, it is a flat square and is not joined to it's neighbor. Some of the squares appear higher than their neighbor. Rather, they should be joined to their neighbors.

The height is in proportion to its value.
Give the test program I put out a shot.

qoncept:
I'll might need some help actually. There are a few more steps before 3d integration is finished.
1) I was only able to pull out a portion of the axis labels. See the picture on the first post. Where can I get the rest?
2) I can't find where to get the axis values. You know, say on the RPM axis there are values of |0|100|200|300|.... up to whatever max RPM the axis shows. Where are these or how do you derive them in your table?
3) I've almost finished setting up a event/listener pair. Your Tables will need to implement the listener interface and register with the 3d graph to be notified of data changes. In hopes of cutting down processing time I'll return a Vector of tableElements() <my own type>. tableElements() will have a int x,y; float value to avoid full table updates. I'll get that code done in a few days.
4) Like 3 above, we can reverse things so my 3d graphs can listen for updates to your tables.
