Is there any code in the ECU that could cause high IAT to drop IAM temporarily?

Just curious....

The final decision to drop the IAM is always based on the knock signal, nothing else.

Thanks for the clarification, appreciate it!!

In my case would be due to heat soak at the stop lights and a hard pull could have resulted in knock, which causes a temporary IAM drop.
