It should, although I don't know what rom id you are running and I haven't checked to see if that rpm threshold varies by rom. 4700 rpm is from a usdm 02 wrx.

15 years later...necro time.
Is there really no way to set a low speed limiter like for a teen driver that won't freaking obey her parents or the law? Life360 clocked her at 92mph but the dashcam showed 107mph. Tried setting fuel cut at 79mph, didn't do anything. Also set the throttle reduction high to 77mph, didn't feel it as I went right to 85mph no problem.
This is an 07 FXT 5MT. I really don't want to take the car away from her because that just means I have to drive her to school and pick her up. I can't switch cars with her cuz mine is faster.
I could turn down the wastegate to zero and it would at least take her longer to get to those speeds, but it's already gimped to 25% max WGDC from when I was breaking in the new shortblock.
Guessing there is no way to set an actual speed limiter at 80mph unless it also happens to be over 4700rpm which is a stupid thing to require, but it is what it is.
