Anyone know of a good tuning book. I want to learn the ropes of tuning so I dont have to spend anymore cash at local speed shops.. I was lookin at "How to Tune and Modify Engine Management Systems" by Jeff Hartman and "Forced Induction Performance Tuning A Practical Guide to Supercharging and Turbocharging" by A. Well

Forced Induction Performance Tuning by A Graham Bell is an excellent book, and even has references to some of the earlier model impreza turbos. Available from Amazon.

This is goign to be "the" reccomended book, I've read it... It's a bit dated (as it includes carb setups) but has lots of great info!

In addition to books.. you're on the internet already. A lot of people recommend Cobb's ST tuning guide. There are tons of references to check out if you do a search with google, and, as long as you're listening to people who know what they're talking about, the more points of view you hear from the better.

a lot of people recommend How to Tune and Modify Engine Management Systems by Jeff Hartman. I bought it, and it has some good info in it, and is pretty current.
