Yeah, MickeyD thought of it.

Thinking maybe we should add "tuning guides" as well to this forum? That is, someone could submit something related to a specific aspect of tuning. Not ECU logic stuff - that would remain in ECU analysis, but general or specific tuning guides. How-to's basically that are general enough to be used by other tuners?

Or used by newbs and those fresh out of diapers just like me.....a little knowledge, but not a "tuner" yet.
This is a great idea.

I missed this the first time around. But, I do like the idea of a 'how to' forum. I've been working on some stuff in the wiki lately but they might be more discoverable as forum posts/threads.

Also, threads make it easier to collect feedback to improve the original draft.

this is an old thread - I added a "how-to guides" forum a couple of days ago. Feel free to start any new guides there or let me know if there are existing guides or the like that should be moved there. So far, doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in it, so I may just consolidate it into the "tuning utilities and speadsheets forum".

D'oh, I hadn't even noticed the new forum. My bookmark for RomRaider just goes to my subscriptions page, which just lists the technical forums. I need to get into the habit of looking around. :)

I'll turn those wiki pages into how-to threads in the next couple/few days.
