Yes, you are correct. There is a piece of code floating around that I posted. I want to make it VERY clear that I did NOT write it. I am not responsible for the work that went into doing this. Additionally, if given the choice again, I would never have posted it (I just wasn't thinking at the time). I clearly did not take credit for it - however, I want to make it extra super duper clear that all of the credit goes to another individual. I won't mention their name unless I hear that it is ok for me to mention it. That said, their code works great.

speaking generally, i would not do this.

i have been using lc/ffs for many many years with a utec and it definitely does NOT disable knock control while active.

have you considered the fact that the engine is actually knocking?

Yep, actual knock is still a valid concern, hence, I've stopped work on this.

Once I finish SD on my rom, it's back to the drawing board with it. I believe the KC is coming from the logic rather than true knock, ie: if fuel cut active then set knock flag, or increment FLKC. But.. I need to do some more research to be absolutely sure of it.

I was actually repairing my detcan box to figure it out, only to have my shortblock implode right before I had it ready. *sadbanana*

I did take a couple good logs beforehand, so between that and disassembly it shouldn't be too hard to track down.
