Thanks, but this is a 16bit ROM, your ecus are 32bit.

is anyone running a version of this with fixes present and FLKC/IAM drops working besides Jerod?

Fuel pump duty cycle at 100% still scares me, is there any negative affects in the long run to the walbros?

Also, so far so good with the TGVs staying open, i readjusted my rom for waaaaaayyyyy more timing and less boost, results = buttloads of torque and its quite a flat curve.

I believe older impreza GT/WRXs didn't even come with FPR and ran 100% duty all time
I am not saying it's better, but at least not critical

correct, 100% duty cycle is fine on the walbro, however they do not like running dry, not even for few seconds.

Put the Grp N ROM on a 2002 JDM STi origianal rom was A4S900D. Was testing the car at sea level (shouldn't make a difference) and after starting the engine, the usual ghost cel was on, left the car to warm up at idle and neutral and came back five minutes later and the cel was gone.
I did some 60kms of hard testing and the cel stayed off all along, even after engine shutdown and restart, (engine was already warm all this time). I simulated a fault by unplugging the MAF connector and the P0172 code IAT range High promptly came up on my obdII code reader.

I have a strong hunch this cel will be on while the Grp N conditions have not been met and has a timer routine or something, still looking now that I found the cel lut.
For the USDM, please try let the engine warm up before driving, I really don't have a definite time yet for the cel to go, maybe try 5 minutes or so  . Without the Intercooler auto switch like on the jdms, i don't know if the byte set will allow for grp n conditions to be met????? Then test drive and see whether the cel goes off or stays on...

I will try the same car tommorrow from a cold start and with a stop watch this time too..
I hope this helps us get the ghost!

If the Mode Byte is set to 0 the Group-N conditions will not be met, however the CEL remains. The IC switch bit sets something else in the USDM ecu that is always on. Merchgod talked about this when he first released the definitions for this ROM.

On the USDM ecu's it has NOTHING to do with mode byte. Nothing.

It is something being set/cleared that is not supposed to be.

I'm assuming its IC spray related. We shall see.

When you have some time to test something I can disable the IC spray logic and see if that changes anything Jerod. Let me know.

Side note Jerod: I will hopefully be testing out the RPM error and "RPM catch" tables this coming week on a V7 bugeye running a MAF based ROM. If I can get it all dialed in nicely I can release it for every 16bit ROM that it's available for. Have you had much success with it? I also have cranking timing for you to play with.

I think they were on the "SD Only" XML I sent you earlier this week. I'm having wierd top-end fueling issues on SD, had to back down to MAF for the time being.
