From engine load 2.1 to 2.7, 2000 to 2800 you have 35 degrees for avcs. Is this for spool up before reaching max engine load?

Yes. That's to help with spool up by increase VE. At least, that's the objective.

Do you get to hit this engine load from a 2000 rpm run wot or 0 to 100mph wot run?

You hit the highest load if you start at 2000 rpm. The highest load occurs around 3000 rpm and then tapers because of reduced compressor efficiency and reduced VE.

Can I use this map for my '05 with a gutted stock DP? Just copy the tables over?

For timing, the 08s have tables for both cruise and non-cruise. You'd have to figure out how to split out the necessary data. Isn't there a stage 2 rom for the 05 or 06?

No. It's totally different. It won't work at all. You're better off starting with the 05 stage 1 tune and then slowly bumping up the boost.

WARNING: There was a serious error in the timing tables below 1.48 g/rev. The timing tables below 1.48 g/rev were copied from the stage 1 rom which had the error introduced. Rev 002 of the stage 2 rom corrects the timing below 1.48 g/rev. Thanks to rtbrjason for pointing this out.

I ran Rev 001 of this tune for a little over a year. As far as I know, my engine is still strong. What was the magnitude of the error and what kind of, if any, damage could surface?

The error was in the low load/low rpm range so short term, there would be no damage. Long term, I have no idea.

You can do a leak down test to see.

I'm starting off with this map and the first issue I've noticed so far is I'm getting a good amount of overboost... I'm hitting a peak of 18.43 at around 4000-4400 RPM in 4th gear typically... I have not logged enough yet to see if it happens in any other gears and to what extent, but I did trigger a P0244 code on my way to work this AM... Twice, at least it hit the cutoff twice on me. I'm going to continue logging as much as I can to see how big of an issue this is.

On that same pull in 2nd gear I reach 17.12 at 4466RPM, third gear 17.99 at 4389RPM.

Any suggestions on where to start? enlarge the pill going to the BCS? or should I bring down the WGDC tables some?

It seems to spike badly after a shift when it's trying to build boost back up so thats why I'm wondering if the pill should be opened up a bit or replaced with another one. I was running this tune fine with a GFB bypass valve in place with no VTA and then after I put the stock BPV back on was the first time I ever hit the boost cut. It was also in the low 60's in my area this AM, but I am still hitting 18.43PSI with air temps in the mid 70's. I'm going to swap back to the GFB valve for now and see if this spiking is still there on spool up, because I don't remember peaking well over 17psi on this tune before going back to the stock valve.

There is no need to modify the pill.

Reduce WGDC max and min. Make sure that the difference between WGDC max and min is unchanged.

Ok, just in that one area, or in that range of RPM at max torque request?

How sensitive is that table? I made a small adjustment, around 5 max in a 2 cells and 3 in the highest cell I changed, keeping the same difference between min and max table as you said. It still hit 18.43PSI in 4th gear. It also seems to be much more apparent when in a higher gear, I noticed 1st and 2nd spool up and do not over shoot the target boost.

Do you want me to get a log of this so you can better assist? or is that not necessary?

also when this is happening, I got one spike at 3200 RPM in third when I went to WOT and the peak WGDC was 60.78 in the log line right before the line with 18.43 in it... and in my tables the MAX WGDC for that RPM range 2800-3200 is 72.2. So am I looking at having to drop the WGDC down to below 60 before I'll see a change?

This is my first turbo car that I've tuned so I'm learning how the WGDC tables respond and all of that so bear with me here. But I'm not a newb at understanding how to tune. I just want to clarify that one.

FWIW I'm running a 3" catless setup to a 3" GMK CBE exhaust, so I'm not sure if me having that much less resistance in my exhaust vs only a gutted DP on this tune is what's causing me to have this boost spike.
