Tip in is still a problem because I havne't taken time to fix it. It isn't bad enough to be feelable under most circumstances but it shows clearly on the LC-1.

I'm impressed you're seeing 1.6g/rev. Is the MAF scaling correct all the way up? Stock MAF scaling "claimed" that I was hitting 1.41g/rev on a stock engine, but when scaled properly, the truth was 1.11g/rev. The reason I ask is that with everything but the PnP heads, I'm hitting an honest 1.35g/rev and getting to 1.6g/rev from there seems like a lot to gain from headwork alone.

bummer on tipin. the WRX ECu doenst have enough raw tip in adjustment so i'm using both A and B maps with lots of value.

i just scaled the upper ranges of the MAF down ~5% after that log, and i think that's my final values, and it was 1.61 at peak but yeah. that is reasonably accurate. below 3.8V MAF my AF correction is +-<7%
i expect more when i get rid of the high 110-120F IATs from my intake terminating in the bay. i had it going to the stock airbox, but that was actually a restriction and a friend needed it.

i know it doesnt look liek much.. hah not in that pic is anything recent.
i did a lot of headwork, and some manifold porting as well. even running an STi oil pump and block oil passage smoothing
i dont think i have headwork pics(cant foto and work at the same time and i'm always short on time)
have a look:

not really updated build thread:

i have my friends GC(topscoob#011) i'm making an oil cooler duct for right now, and i lent him the wagon. i should have it back tomorrow and i can get you any data you could want to validate this. i'm not full of s*** or just bragging.
a small aside, that same duct is going on my car but to the airbox i'm still working on. ram airbox i prototyped on my STi is worth ~4psi in the manifold ~120mph the VF39 wont deliver at lower speeds, so i expect to see ~1psi in the airbox, and that's another 20-30 hp.

Bumping an ancient thread. I am hitting 1.5/1.6g per rev on my 07 2.5i with cams bigger valves and similar work.

I had to move to WRX injectors and a walbro 255 in tank to fuel it.

I'm running a 32bit OEM ecu with a well scaled maf.
