I flashed this to my MY06 Australian wrx yesterday, it took a lot of copying and pasting of the 93 octane maps and there is a few differences mainly being only two boxes in the CL to OL delay instead of 3 like the USDM map and the primary open loop fuelling is slightly different in the top end, so i left it as per factory because the initial poster said the fuelling was unchanged.
the way it drives now is the way it should have been as it left the factory, much nicer off the line in normal everyday driving and the extra pull in fifth gear around 90kmh is great for overtaking.

Would i just have to lower the wgdc to run the gm solenoid on this map? I am in the same boat as imprezave. What do I need to change to run the 3 port on this map? Thanks, BithellWagon

Could you run this map with a catless downpipe, stock catback?

How would you change it to have the same type of throttle as stock (DBW)? Instead of the DBC system.
Also, I only have 92 octane gas around me.. which map should I run? Or should I change something in the flash for the octance difference, as small as it is (I'm still worried for some reason)?

Nevermind.

I flashed this map (93oct) last week and am really impressed at how much smoother the car is. The only thing I have noticed in my logs is some pulled timing under feedback knock correction. Can anyone take a quick look at this (and my knock count sum) and let me know if this looks normal? I'm still kinda new to this - to me it looks pretty good overall - just not sure about a few spots of pulled timing in this log.
In Excel the rows are: 681-684 1011-1022 1366-1367
Thanks in advance

What I found is run the 91 map on 93. The knock correction is happy that way. My friend has had this 06 91oct map on his car for around a year now. Runs great. Id like to try and flash the 93 oct map with a few tanks of good fuel to see if that clears it up. (something better than 93)

Good idea- I'll reflash the 91 map and see if it looks any better.
One thing I did notice while I was sitting in a drive-thru (Taco Bell Cantina tacos FTW) is that the knock sum would increment 1-3 counts every time I burped the gas to pull forward. I'm guessing it's some kind of noise being picked up but that would explain why when I'm sitting in traffic the knock sum keeps counting up and resetting. This could be "normal" but I never really logged the car on the stock map - nor when I had the stock clutch. My new flywheel/clutch combo makes so much noise I wouldn't be suprised if the knock sensor picks up the rattling.

I've run this map (93oct) on my AUDM07 for just over a month now. The car feels soooo much better. Only slight concern I have is the learningview I grabbed today: The -2.45s were -1.4s about 2 weeks ago. The -1.05 is new. Possibly caused by 'noise'? I am running GrpN tranny mounts & TiC Diff bushings. Is there anything in particular you'd like logged to get a better idea of a possible cause?

Pull your stock map, copy the relevant stage 1 tables in to your ROM, and reflash the newly edited ROM.

I wanted to thank Gabedude and all that had a hand in making this map. I flashed the 91 to my stock 07 wagon yesterday. The good...Very impressed with the initial feel. Throttle response feels less "drive by wire", first gear throttle response now makes sense. The good/bad....I must have a bit of gain in torque because I can get my 60k old clutch to slip at around 3500-4000rpm WOT in 3rd-5th. More good....What little logging I did get showed a very stable response with no knock events. My target boost is a little low but I believe 5k+ elevation is the logical explanation. A noob with an excuse to get a better clutch

I am looking for a 05 wrx stage 1 map. Or what are all the tables edited in this stage 1 tune? I could just modify the stock map to match the tables. Any help in finding 05 wrx stage 1 in appreciated.
thanks,
