Is there a certain number of rows that can be graphed? I tried a log from my friends 2011 wrx with the ecu flash high res can patch and it stopped plotting at 2700 or so for the dyno, timing, boost, afr, etc...

For timing, boost, etc you can click on the trace on the graph and extend the data range to what you need. For the dyno page, it should handle large input files.

Is it possible to have higher Gs (car acceleration) but lower torque? Torque for FXT AT is 253 lbs/ft but gets a .53G for acceleration. A fxt MT 5 spd has 313 lbs/ft but only gets .41 G

How is it being measured, G meter or acceleration based on vehicle speed?

A fxt MT 5 spd has 313 lbs/ft but only gets .41 G G value depends on the gearing. For example, 2nd gear will give higher G value than 3rd gear, even though both should have similar torque at the crank.

Using OP2 Can and Kline logs, it will not read properly with the airboy spreadsheet. Here is the original file: Attachment:

Here is the file opened and saved using ecuedit. Apparently what it does is to just put Time as the first column and sample after. Airboy can now give the expected result. Attachment:

I am struggling with understanding the purpose of the spreadsheet.
Is there anyone here in Aus (Brisbane) who is understands it and is willing to meet up?
So far, my ability extends to simply importing logs and looking at plots of boost, wgdc etc etc etc... I can sort of work out how to plot the dyno charts etc...
But the useul stuff looks like timing and boost/wgdc interpolation. I simply dont understand how to use the WGDC?boost tabs... At one point, I think I generated some WGDC settings so I thought I'd try them out... I modded my hex file, flashed to the car, and it ran very SMOOTHLY... no surges at all.. but with really low wgdc values the boost happened later in the rpm range... anyway, all I can do is keep pluggin away at it.
Plus I'm having massive dramas pasting the tables from RR into the s/sheet... it never wants to align itself!
Hopefully it will all "click" for me.

Can't really help you with the first part of your question, but, If you copy the table from your rom and paste it anywhere below the example table like in row 42 and column A for example. You then just click "align and move copied table" and hey presto it does it all for you. Make sure macros are enabled first.

Hi Nice excel sheet! I live in Norway, Europe, and we use "," as decimal delimiter. Not "." as used in the US. Due to this, the spreadsheet crashes when hitting the button: "Calc Acceleration" on the "Accel"-tab. I debugged the problem, and a quick fix is to replace this line in Sheet15 (Accel) > calc_accel > click: Code: Cells(row, 5).Value = "=SLOPE(D" & (row) & ":D" & (row + 1) & ",A" & (row) & ":A" & (row + 1) & ")" & " * " & 45.5486542443 & "/" & Time_multiply
with this line: Code: Cells(row, 5).Value = "=SLOPE(D" & (row) & ":D" & (row + 1) & ",A" & (row) & ":A" & (row + 1) & ")" & " * " & "45.5486542443" & "/" & Time_multiply
With the US-formatted number 45.5486542443 formatted as "text", the calculation and excel-spreadsheet works. Keep up the good work Espen

Airboy, MickeyD thanks for an amazing tool! I have a question about using it to scale open loop. I also asked it in another thread, but wanted to make sure you see it... and it may be relevant for others so here goes: Quote: How can the tool properly measure the error in AFR if the ECU is making adjustments from the open loop fuel table to come up with a final commanded AFR?
It seems that in cases where the final commanded AFR is different from the base AFR from the open loop table, the spreadsheet would come up with an incorrect AFR error, which could then lead to incorrect scaling, or am I not understanding this properly?
Thanks for any insight.
edit: I started wondering about this because I noticed that there are two open loop fuel tables in my rom ('08 STi) and then noticed that there is a parameter which is called something like "final commanded AFR".

Had a slight issue with this spread sheet, may have just been visual though... But I'm not sure. I did the AFR interpolate graphs and the issue I had was the display of the AFR was being trimmed at various spots, There were only 79 rows being displayed on the AFR % error graph, and between 80-100 depending on the series on the target, vs actual graph. I fixed them on my copy to display up to 1000 rows, but I was just wondering if that was just me who saw this or if its a global error. I noticed it because the % error graph was all crunched up and only had data from 3.25v maf to 3.78v maf when my pull went up to 4.56v maf. It still seemed to calculate all of the %'s as it should have so overall I do not think it affected my MAF table changes any. Might want to scratch that since this sounds like the same problem just on a different page... d0nets wrote: Is there a certain number of rows that can be graphed? has anyone successfully used OpenOffice to run this? Excel is way too glitchy on my computer. Or, if I must use Excel, has anyone run into the problem with the Time units being off, when logging with the "Fast Poll" function on? It seems like the spreadsheet is detecting the Time units to be in Seconds, not Milliseconds.
Thanks!
