Ok, I was just checking. So I should probably have 3414 for a weight in there to be a bit closer then.

Version 8 had a syntax error in it, Version 9 is now the current file.

I updated the original post.
When you download the file save it in the RomRaider installation directory.

Not sure what I am doing wrong Dale, but I can't get the dyno/et bit to work.

This is my procedure:
  • set trip meter back to 0
  • get car ready for the 0-400m run
  • set the correct model and parameters on the dyno tab
  • click record and the green text prompting me to start is displayed
  • engage launch control and take off like a rocket
  • do well over 400m (as indicated on trip meter) before slowing down to a stop
  • check dyno tab graph and it always displays the same weird results

I saved the log thinking I could reload it, but it doesn't, so I can't post a screenshot, but the contents of the log is as follows:

Code:
02 ADM WRX STi 6MT(4), Elev: -473ft, Pres: 14.945psi, Hum: 60%, Temp: 84.2°F
60ft/18.3m:   0.000" @ 0.00 kph
330ft/100m:   0.000" @ 0.00 kph
1/2 track:   0.000" @ 0.00 kph
1,000ft/305m:   0.000" @ 0.00 kph
1/4 mile/402m:   0.000" @ 0.00 kph

Could the errors be because of the negative elevation? I'm actually at sea level, but pressure is a little high from the weather atm.

I'll try make it out for another 0-400m run later today and I'll take a screenshot of how it displays.

Leslie

Elevation, temperature car type are not used in any of the ET results it is just informational content.

The ET calculator is only concerned with Vehicle Speed and Time. VS should be zero before you press the Record button. After that as long as you are moving and under 400m it will record your speed. Once it hits >400m it should stop logging and plot the results.

You could always delete your romraider.log file, set log4j.rootLogger=trace in the log4j.properties file rather than "info" and send me the log after you try it again.

Here's info for 05 USDM 2.5i Legacy Wagon.
Haven't had a time to test it out, but it looks like it should be correct. (Will test on thurs 16/12) Used information from other LGT, and stats for 2.5i from cars101.

Code:
    <car>
      <type>05 USDM 2.5i LEGACY WGN</type>
      <carmass>3300</carmass>
      <finalratio>4.111</finalratio>
      <rollcoeff>0.015</rollcoeff>
      <dragcoeff>0.31</dragcoeff>
      <frontalarea>22</frontalarea>
      <transmission>automatic</transmission>
      <gearratio1>2.75</gearratio1>
      <gearratio2>1.545</gearratio2>
      <gearratio3>1</gearratio3>
      <gearratio4>.694</gearratio4>
      <tirewidth>205</tirewidth>
      <tireaspect>55</tireaspect>
      <wheelsize>16</wheelsize>
   </car>

Let me know if anything looks to be off.

Your right, I was playing with stuff before hand and forgot to change values back to where they should have been. I have corrected the post.

I think it's very close to the USDM 05 LGT. I added an entry to the def in the original post.
