Dealer and other car services did not find anything suspicious. Thats why I'm start solution searching. Car runs perfect, but mileage is very low Yesterday I've got "DTC MEMORIZED: P0011 CAMSHAFT POS. - TIMING OVER-ADVANCED 1", but CEL dissapeared - planning to check AVCS and banjo-bolts filters. The car is stock - I think so.... but not sure. (OBXT 2005) So, waiting for your advices... Thanks in advance! Based on your fuel trims, it seems you could possibly have a leak around the airbox somewhere as it is running fairly rich at low g/s. Recently I fixed P0011 error by removing banjo bolt filter. Now I have no problems with VVT, but still I have problem with fuel consumption. My learning view changed, may be now somebody could find out the problem. Also I attach logs in CL. Don't look on memorized error it is result of disconnecting MAF sensor.

What does it mean if LTFT is running lean at low g/s (+10 ) as Running rich at low g/s means a leak. I have Stock airbox with stock maf table using 650cc injectors (stock latency) Previously had an intake manifold and tmic leak that caused my car to run rich. As I didnt know, I just went back to stock latency and adjusted a bit by leaning out maf table. The higher stock latency never worked for me as it was too rich. I always had to compensate with maf table when maf table should just be left as is and not compensate for other fueling issues. Since I had a correction of +10 and finding that I have no more leak, I increased latency to 15% over stock and now it lines up.

Is there anyone who managed to get Learnin view working with EDM STi MY11 ROMID AZ1G700K? The only parameter I can read is the IAM from this ECU. Is there a way to add support for this ROM?
Thanks

Thanks The supported ROMs are hard coded into the program rather than being referenced in an XML or other file so who ever has the source for the program needs to update it for the new roms and repackage it. It sounds like whoever that person is doesn't have the free time to get this done, probably because they are getting paid to use their skills elsewhere. I would like to write a similar utility in Java but I don't even know where to begin or find information on how to communicate with the ECU to get the data that learning view accesses. I don't think the source for RomRaider is useful directly because it doesn't access this data, but since it does talk to the ECU, it might be a place to start. If I could find the information need to get this data from the ECU, I think I could write the program to do it.

take a look at the learning view log. Everything is almost there. Mart ggg0516 wrote: jassem99 wrote: Is there anyone who managed to get Learnin view working with EDM STi MY11 ROMID AZ1G700K? The only parameter I can read is the IAM from this ECU. Is there a way to add support for this ROM?

Learning View and RomRaider's logger both use the same protocol (SSM) for communicating to the ECU. There are only a couple of interesting commands: get ECU ID, read memory. The key thing is knowing what memory locations to read and how to interpret the values. There's document on SSM floating around the net, I think it was written by the guy who wrote EcuExplorer. There's also the RomRaider code, and an open-source C# logger at http://ssm.codeplex.com. Merchgod also mentioned somewhere on this forum that the address of the knock learning table is easy to find in most ROMs if you have the address of (I think...) the IAM value.

I will check this stuff out and see if I can get anywhere on this.

I've worked on the new version of learning view a little more. I've had to strip out the half-completed new features that I'll likely never have time to finish so I can actually get out a new version with new ecu support. I should have some more time in the upcoming weeks to work on it.

Could anyone let me know how these look: I am completely stock, air filter to stock tune, why is there soo many negative #'s in A/F range, its the percentage of fuel removed.. but why soo high #'s?? I have a boost gauge, and it reads bang on while boosting, and vacuum is perfect as well, is it normal for a stock tune to pull that much fuel? Thanks JP

When was the last time you replaced your air filter?
