i dont know what ECU ID 2F04785206 means but RR and other software is working ok with this cable.
when i open rom image in RR it says that ECU revision is a2zjc00b.

Your ecu id is not supported by the LV program.

When was the last time you replaced your air filter?

Maybe 10 months ago!

Its not too old! I'll do a reset of the ECU and see after...

Other than the air filter, what could it be?

JP

I notice when my air filter is dirty AF corrections start to go negative. I change it and it goes right back up to near zeros.
So the O2 sensor is telling the ECU to remove fuel as there is low oxygen in the exhaust. This would seem to indicate the air is going somewhere else after it is read by the MAF or there is too much fuel being injected.
Maybe:
Clean the MAF
Check the fuel pressure to make sure it is not stuck at the high pressure setting
Replace the front O2

Any update on Bill side ?
Easter week-end should give him some time to work on this useful piece of software ;)
Hopefully AZ1J500G (7442594007) will be part of the upgrade :|
(crossing fingers... )

I'm right where with you! I'm getting tired of logging to find out my fine learning knock correction. :)

Working on it some this weekend. Hope to have something ready in the next few weeks, hopefully.

As far as support, if the ROM has been uploaded somewhere on the RomRaider site, then there should be support for it (except for the diesels and a handful of naturally aspirated ECUs that don't support the "normal" FLKC table).

Bill

Hey i am having some issues with learning view.

Recently changed to a new laptop running windows 7 32bit.

Learning view used to work fine but now i just get "ECU Init request failed. Make sure cable is connected, correct COM port is chosen and correct drivers are installed."

The COM log gives this
Code:
[18:16:03.5080595] Learning View version 0.6a
[18:16:06.3622228] PassThruOpen returned 8 and DeviceID 0

[18:16:09.8574227] COM2 closed

any ideas?

Im using ecuflash 1.42.2595 and i was able to read the rom fine.

I had to manually change the open port driver though, it originally came up as vehicle interface and ecuflash wouldnt see it. so manually selected open port 2.0.

VICTORY!!!

After lots of playing around and different versions and uninstalling and reinstalling and reboots i finally got it!

NOTE: DO NOT INSTALL the "openport 2.0 vehicle interface" driver. Cause when you do this causes the open port to pick that driver up instead of the "Open Port 2.0" Driver (which creates the COM port) and then your software doesnt work.

If you accidentally allow this to install during install of ecuflash then you can uninstall it BEFORE you plug your open port 2.0 cable in so it can get the right drivers.

Even just going into device manager and manually selecting the "open port 2.0" over the vehicle interface driver still did not work. It would not work on my system till i got rid of the vehicle interface drivers.

Stupid ecuflash STUPID. You setup your installer so that it wont even work with the openport 2.0 cable :|

For the N/A ECUs, will EZ1E401H (2009 USDM Impreza AT 2.5i) have support, or is it one of the exceptions mentioned above?
Thanks in advance.

I was looking in the supported ECUs and it seems like theres support for my ECU AZ1G400W (ADM 2009 WRX).
But when i try to load up LV it says my ECU is not supported. Is there anything i can do to get it working?

Thanks!
