I recently tuned a 2011 STI (Auto) with this rom + def file, and was not able to set a dedicated boost target to each Si-Drive mode.
The boost target always defaulted to the far right requested torque column, on your target boost table i.e. Intelligent, Sport, and Sport Sharp

Has anyone here experienced the same..?

Thanks.
Phoenix

Hi Phoenix, I will log my car in the different SI Drive modes and see what happens. Will keep you posted. Would you be willing to post up your modified rom so that I and perhaps others like me (newbies  ) can learn something from you?

Thanks, look forward to helping each other!

Hi madvally...

Sorry for the late reply.
Been reading your posts on viewtopic.php?f=34&t=7048&start=45
I can guarantee you that your Si-Drive will have no affect on the Requested Torque value.
You can change your boost, and WGDC table to set custom Requested Torque values for each Si mode, and what you will discover is the same 350 figure...

Not sure if the def files is causing this, or if this is somehow embedded into the ecu to protect the Auto tranny!
PM me your email addy...;)

I plotted the dbw table and this is what I got from the stock map. Its pretty odd for stock values.
This is with sport sharp and target throttle plate position maximum. Typically column for 1 ratio should be all at 100.

So what seems to be wrong? The 'Requested Torque Accelerator Pedal SIDRIVE' are wrong or are you expecting target boost tables per Si mode?

I wasnt expecting less than 100 values for 1 ratio column. So there's a big gap in the middle of the graph where it should be 100. The ff are all from max. Typically you see something like this (from legacy gt AT AE5F301C) Take note that ratio 1 colume has 102.4%

Here's the dbw for the stock forester xt 09

The values in target throttle plate position tables for AZ1J500J (between 2800 to 5600 rpm) is not what you would normally expect in the rightmost column (1) of Requested torque to requested torque base ratio.

Worst case if the code in not compatible with the hardware (i.e.: ECU connector pinouts for all sensors and switches) is the code will not initialize and you have a brick. This would require an shboot mode code reload.

No problem at all here when I did it... I set WG pressure for Intel, 14.7psi for Sport and 18psi for Sport# without issue.

I suggest checking your WGDC tables ;)

OK

Found the problem everyone else appears to be having...

There is SIX DBW Accelerator Tables with 3 of them being undefined in the posted definition

DDDE8 Intel
DD8E8 Sport
DDB68 Sport#

I had all 6 defined with all values same between same tables etc

Both 'pairs' need to be paired for accurate boost control in SI Drive mode
