This is a release candidate for a new version (1.0) of Learning View. Please try it out and let me know if there are any issues. Has the following changes:

RC1:
1. Support added for many new ECUs (a total of 403 ECUs now supported)
2. More compact vertical size by rearranging placement and design of DTC reader and A/F Learning #2 displays.
3. Adds reading and displaying of A/F Learning #3 (for applicable ECUs), Intake Temp, Coolant Temp, and Atmospheric Pressure. Unit drop-down box allows selection of standard or metric units for latter 3 parameters.
4. System time in file names for screenshot and .csv changed to military time (for better file sorting by name).
5. "About" function displays a list of all supported ECUs by cal id and description.
6. Bug fixed where DTC reader indicates a potential error when none has occured.
7. Bug fixed where DTC reader has no description available for some DTCs.
8. DTC reader can no longer be disabled.
9. "Comm Log" function removed from menu (LV still logs comm info to file in directory that LV executable is placed).
10. Ecu info presented in datagrid format.

RC2:
1. Added border to DTC reader box.
2. Minor change to one ECU's description.

RC3:
1. Added support for 5 more ECUs submitted since RC1 (total ECUs supported: 410).
2. Added support for alternate group N ROM (same cal id - different ECU id than previously supported ROM).
3. Added additional decimal place for atmospheric pressure (suggested by dschultz)
4. Added decimal place for ECT/IAT Fahrenheit conversion.
4. Changed .csv and screenshot file name date format to yyyy-mm-dd (suggested by dschultz).
5. Removed icon from "About" button to try to avoid overflow of button on toolstrip on some machines.
6. Fixed minor formatting issues of some ECU descriptions.

Thanks for trying it out. I've changed a lot of internal functions to make it easier to update for new ECUs, so I'm just trying to make sure nothing was broken as a result.

Thank you for your efforts.
Is it possible to add the description for a currently unsupported ecu later without disturbing you?

Ive been watching your 2009 thread for the longest time. haha I see you also included some models still part of the beta definitions such as the legacy 2010 edm.

How about the AG572-1355 found here http://www.romraider.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1070

RC2 is up. Fixed an issue with one of the ECU descriptions. Added a border to SSM DTC reader window.

No, I haven't added any capability to do this. Problem is that the DTC stuff is not easy to set-up in a way to define via xml. Plus, this would require validation and exception handling when parsing any external data which would take some time to implement.

However, I have made changes so it will be much easier for me to add support for new ECUs. There won't be another 2+ year wait. Probably try to do it every couple of months.

The ECU support in Learning View has nothing to do with any definition creation for RomRaider or Ecuflash. I simply browse the forums for ROMs that people have uploaded and then go through the process of defining each element for LV. So, I simply need a copy of the ROM pulled with Ecuflash. Without the ROM, there is no way for me to add support.

Works here, even the DTC portion.
One suggestion, the saved file name format of YYYY-MM-DD would provide better file name sorting as it would allow common years, then months and day sorting. The current format of MM-DD-YYYY would result in the same month of multiple years to be intermingled.
Thanks for provide this update.

Yes, it is. Please try it out as I had to add a special case for this ECU to display the a/f axis as MAP instead of airflow, so I'm wondering if it worked properly.

Good point! I'll change this in the next release candidate.
