Thanks for the quick response.
Sadly, I drive a 2005, so I'll be needing my laptop!
Do you use this gauge and sensor? If so, what are your thoughts?

Well, with the latest Romraider RC there's fast polling on the logger, apparently much faster.
Yeah - I bought it some months back when I started tuning - I've used it extensively, and I must say I like the fact that the controller unit is now integrated into the gauge. The only challenge comes in finding a place to install the damn thing, since it's much thicker than the LC1 (I had to sacrifice the side airvent). I never thought I'd really care for the gauge, since I really wanted it for logging, but it's actually very useful in troubleshooting whilst driving and checking that I'm not leaning out WOT. It's very clear and legible, and very easy to recalibrate as well.
I like.

Just finished installing one today, very nice looking gauge and quite responsive. Cheap too, I might add. I've yet to log with rr but it looks like it's going to be straight forward. The unit has bare analog output wires, can I wire one of these directly into OP2 for sd logging?

The easiest, I found, since the Innovate serial protocol is natively supported on SD logging, is to use the new cable with a male to male DB9 (rs232) convertor, and an older LC1 serial to 2.5 mm jack - plugged it in, put in the correct scaling in the logcfg.txt. file, and it's started logging no problem.

Hi! What do you think about this cable: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Innovate-3746-S ... 0493426142Would it work? My plan is to buy the MTX-L instead of the LC-1, just seems to be an overall better deal. Cheers, Patrick

That's exactly the cable I use, along with a male to male rs232 (DB9) adaptor, and if you need to plug in to a laptop, a serial to USB cable.

Thank you! I'll probably ask for the parameters needed to get the op2 sd logging going once I have the parts installed.

No worries! It's unfortunate we didn't get to meet when you were out here - maybe when you next come through. Work gets in the way of living, what can we say The OP2 coding is very simple... ______________________ type = inno paramname = mylc1.afr paramid = 0x0101 scalingrpn = x,14.7,* ___________________

Any plan to be able to also log the new MTX-D dual function gauges they've released recently? I'm planning to purchase the Oil Pressure/Temp gauge and using the pressure sensor for fuel pressure since I'm having issues with my Aeromotive FPR. Thanks, Garrison

It should work now. Let us know when you get them installed.

I've been using SPA dual LCD gauges.. I really like them, but they have some shortfalls. Definitely picking up one of the Boost and Oil pressure gauges. Thanks for the heads up! As for support, they probably use the same Innovate serial structure.. like mentioned above, they should work

2bfi wrote: Hi All, long time observer, 1st time poster (I think)... I'm trying to log data from the MTX-L to Tactrix via SD using the cable/method above but it's logging zero '0' values. Can anyone else confirm success using the LM-2 Serial Patch Cable (rather than the cable and rs232 (DB9) adaptor used by td-d)? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Thanks to a quick PM from 2bfi, I have managed to get the MTX-L logging data with the LM-2 Serial 2.5mm Patch Cable - P/N: 3812 - #3812
The solution was as simple as updating EcuFlash to version 1.43.3252, which then updates the firmware on the Tactrix! Problem solved.
Thanks again for the help - much appreciated!
