Has anybody noticed this during warmup? 15-30C of water temperature

the ecu pulls out about 20 degrees, as you start to tune more agressive setups the vehicles don't like running at -2 degrees of timing.

Anyone got a work around or uncovered this process so more?

Out of curiosity, why are you trying to tune the warm up region?

Are you running a different cam setup? Is that why the car is running rough?

I adjusted the warm up idle rpm slightly to eliminate some roughness, but that's all I've ever done to tune the warm up region.

Just curious more then anything.

This has been more noticable on E85, the motor starts to labour a little when the ecu pulls timing.

It would be nice if you could have progressive warmup timing but not essential.

Some of my cars are very angry running -5 degrees of timing during warm up. My destrokers with big cams get the most angry during that time. I'd love to be able to defeat this catalyst warmup logic BS to get an engine that is happier at cold start. I want the heat in the pistons and engine, not in a catalyst that I no longer have.

The logic is only there to warm up cats. Engines hate it.
