This spreadsheet is used to build a VE base map using your current MAF.

Notes:
Designed for excel 2003.
Compatible with Cobb SD, just paste your SD table in the ROM section.

Changelog:
v0.2 sorting bug fix
v0.3b added more auto-selection, allows different units of MAP, added compatibility for Cobb SD
v0.4b added AFR Tuning, error% = (wideband - FFB)/FFB

Thanks to Airboy for the MRP comp spreadsheet that this is heavily based on.

I like where you're going with the Tune Table from AFR. Should this be functional in v0.3b? The button doesn't appear to do anything. Also, I get two errors when I open up the table:

The PivotTable field name is not valid. x2

v0.3b doesn't have table tuning active, but will be in the next revision.

I just checked and I only get those errors on excel 2010, I'll have to check it out.

Hey Merp - did you ever get round to implementing the AFR error part of this spreadsheet? Been running a pretty solid map now, also slowly tinkering with the MAF / IAT comp tables - would be great to be able to automate some of the grunt work...

Cheers

Updated with a beta for the AFR tuning. Creates a pivot table of AFR error against FFB. Of course, you can use OL target as the reference as well.

Error % is calculated as (Wideband - FFB)/FFB, so a positive error translates to a lean condition, requiring an increase in VE table. This is the opposite of the MAF-table-build function, where a positive error translates to a rich condition.

Next revision I will try to add a referencing routine if possible, for IAT comps.

For every file you import I could have it calculate an average % error and average IAT, then store them in a table for long-term IAT tuning.

Hi,
what Final Fueling Base must been logged? 2 byte or 4 byte.
and it is estimatet AFR, Lambda or fuel air equivalence ratio?

And what BOV setting must been driven? Fully closed or the later setting I'ld drive?

Greets

Either 2-byte or 4-byte should work, but I normally log 4-byte parameters only to avoid issues with 2-byte range limits.

Fueling parameters in the spreadsheet are all in AFR units.

As for the BOV, I think the results will be more consistent if you keep it closed while building the VE map.

Okay. Here is my delima.

I need the spreadsheet to calulate maf g/sec for a table that is RPM vs Manifold Absolute Pressue (BAR).

It seems none of the are working for me. I have a driving data log and I need the spreadsheet to take the log and create the table using the log data.

Example:
MAP (Absolute)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
RPM

500 1.15

Hi,
what is the best driving circuit for the best result? Driving around for an half hour up to two hours. And very small throttle changes? Maybe with cruise control?

And what VE table can paste in ROM section if I have'nt one. I'ld use NSFW's Rom Patch and they are no VE's entered.

What exactly are you looking for? No spreadsheet is going to auto tune the car for you. Why are you wanting to calculate maf g/s when you are not tuning with the maf?

What are you using for input of VE SD flow g/s?? Is there a way to log this value??

4th gear pull attached.

If I paste my rom ve table in the rom page does the spreadsheet modify the table for me?

How do I apply the el comp page to the rom page?? I have been doing it one cell at a time manually.

Is there a formula button I am not seeing??

I understand everything else now but am stumped at how to transfer the EL comp page to the rom ve table.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
