I noticed this and asked scotthew to supply a fix. Fixed and pushing changes now... the current behavior is to keep opened ROMs in their current state. Newly opened ROMs will open expanded. Let me know if this is the expected behavior. The other option is to open the new ROM collapsed. Or possibly a 3rd option. The tree behavior can be specified in the settings.

Are you using "Copy Table", "Copy Selection", or Ctrl+C. I worked on the Copy Table menu item. My change use a value pre-loaded from the settings file. This should not be any slower than before. Scotthew Im using Ctrl+C and Ctrl+v to paste. Havent tried copy selection.

Keep in mind that RomRaider is not hanging it is working on whatever you told it to do. The problem is that most long running tasks are not run inside of a worker thread except for the ones that I have switched over (open image, close image, copy table, and set user level). I have seen this behavior on my system when running in debug mode. On slower systems you will notice this more often. Moving these tasks to a worker thread will not speed up the task it will only allow the UI to draw while the task is running. But at least we can display a wait cursor in these situations. Scotthew

I am copying tables from one rom to another.
Normally, the first rom I open is the Rom I plan to edit. So I open the 2nd rom and make changes to the first.
When I go to close the 2nd rom and save the 1st rom, My 1st rom will get closed instead even though the command within the file menu clearly indicates that I'm closing the 2nd rom.
If I try to reverse it so that I open the 2nd rom, 1st, nothing changes. In the file menu, instead of it giving me the option of closing the 1st rom, it gives me the option to close the 2nd. So I close the 2nd rom. Instead it closes the 1st.
To confirm that my ish isn't effed, I installed V0.5.5 and things are working properly.
The PC that I'm using is WinXP 64 bit running java V7 32 bit.

AgentH,
Found it. When you click on an open table the window title switches to the currently selected table's ROM and essentially makes this the "lastSelectedRom". However, if you look at the menu items they are still showing the previously selected ROM. It looks like the menu is not getting updated with the currently selected ROM. If you were to open a table from each rom and flip focus back and forth bertween the tables you would notice the editor title switching but not the menu. This is an easy fix. I will get a patch to dale.
Thanks

In Linux, the full screen version of the logger doesn't display the menu bar.

Finally spent some time working on my own cars tune for a bit tonight after updating to this build. After tuning for about an hour with good results (XP, with an LC1) it froze and I was not able to get it going again.

Can you provide more information, maybe the rr_system.log and any crash log that Java may have generated?
