Downloaded this ROM today and would hope to start a thread in getting the logic analyzed and the definitions developed in the same way as the 16-bit Group N ROM I uploaded some years back. The rom is 1024kB and the chip an SH7058.
If the Admin(s) give the go ahead I will promptly upload :)

Not really. I was tuning a 2009 Spec C GRB with the AZ1G501K and the roms are different. Good news though is with the way the ecu pin-outs I have compared so far are, there are many common pin locations with the USDM STis from 2006 on but still checking.....

Seeing what you meant on the similarity now :-)

The specific CAL ID (as you would get from an OBD-II scanner) is AZ1F000F.
The CAL ID string is at ROM address 0xC8036 (not 0x2004) for the purposes of Editor definitions.

Interesting, like the 16bit group N rom - no feedback or fine learning knock control, only IAM.

Awesome!

Started digging around in this rom today

Does anyone have a list of features/specs the ecu is released with? Any pictures of the hardware?

The antilag and launch control seem to be controlled through the SI-Drive knob's 3 positions, namely Sport, Sport Sharp and Intelligent. A small board with a 16 position switch is also added as shown in the pic below. Will take more pics and upload as soon as possible :-)

The rear end of the board has 2 jumper wires and two wires from the 16 position Map_sel switch soldered on. One jumper connects B134 Pin 4 to B135 Pin 17 and the other connects B135 pin 12 to B136 Pin 13. The Map_Sel switch black wire is connected to Grnd at B136 Pin 6 whereas the White wire is connected to B135 Pin 24. This is with reference to the 2009 USDM STi Workshop Manual which has several ecu-pinouts matching the JDM version. B134 Pin 4 connects to the Manifold Air Temperature sensor found in the JDM 2.0L STis whereas B135 Pin 17 does not seem connected on the JDM 2.0L STi but connects to the Fuel Temp Sensor on the USDM 2.5L STi.
Anyone have a complete copy of the 2009 JDM Ecu-pinouts and / or wiring diagram?
