So I flashed my 06 WRX with the 93oct about 3 days ago and wow what a difference the car has great throttler responds when pulling away from stops. The car pulls so hard in 1st gear it is a different car. The car also pulls pretty good in the rest of the gears. I have some extra mods done to the car too, and the one map I was able to do looks pretty good.

returning back to stock and cant find my stock boost solenoid. would it be ok to run a mbc with this map and only run 13-14psi?

I just flashed a 2006 with this. right after I disconected everything I got a CEL w/ cruise control flashing.. cel code is p0407

I flashed the tables from this maps on mine EDM WRX06 about a half year ago. it works very fine! even with 18-19psi on peaks(corrected the boost tables), removed the cats from the stock exhaust(turned the certain CELs off). i've got no detonation with good fuel at all(LV&FBKC logs), just a little bit on track days or with bad fuel(unfortunatly it happens here), but IAM is always 1!

Can I use this map to improve my WRX's performance since currently I have no tune?

I believe that with your mods, you should be looking at a stage 2 tune.
CAI and BOV may require additional / custom tuning

Good luck with your tuning adventure - I am relatively new to this, and have probably read more in the past six months - than in the past six years, as I work my way into this process

Nope, you want stage 2 as the WGDC tables will be off plus your car will flow more air

Beautiful map, just loaded it on my car and love it.

one question: I was hoping to add just a little more boost (have it peak at around 15psi); besides increasing the boost, is there anything else I need to adjust on the map to accommodate that boost level?

I apologize for resurrecting this question, but I wanted a little more detail on the issue. I am currently running a Weapon R SRI on my 06 WRX with factory map, and am curious to know if flashing to your 91 oct tune will cause any damaging issues? if so could you specify what? i understand i now have increased airflow, but I am having issues finding a good map for a wrx with a simple SRI installed and nothing more.

i came across this tune and for the past 2 hours have been trying to upload it to my cobb ap but im unable to do so cause the file reads as a HEX file, anyone else had issues of that sort? or know how i can fix this?

These are Open Source maps - they will not work on an AP.

Since most intakes make their claimed +10 HP or so by modifying the airflow to the MAF sensor to eventually make the engine run leaner, you are fine with this map or the stock map.
