Hi,

I just found this virtual dyno tool, but It just wont work for me, and I cant find any instructions. What parameters do you need to log to make it work?

Iirc time stamp, engine speed, boost, afr and throttle position.
If throttle position doesn't reach 100% it won't compile the data.

Hm, just cant make it work..

Is something missing in my log? I have time (is lirc some special time stamp?), RPM, boost, Throttle % (100%) and AFR.

Heres a log I just tried to compile from a log, no idea if its straight road or not, just for testing. In virtual dyno it says "Throttle % missing", but it is in the log..

Ideas?

I suspect it doesn't like your number/field format of , as decimal point and ; as field separator.

Open the file in a text editor and replace all , with . and all ; with ,
Save the file and try it again.

Label throttle position as TPS, use RPM and Time as the three labels.

Sad thing about VD is that it does not take into account clutch slip so if engine rpm rises faster than road speed... hello 500Kw monster TD04 with a diff back exhaust hahaha

Seen a fair few autos in Virtual dyno that thought they had massive power because it pulled to rev limiter super fast, ended up with less power than stock and 1200rpm of box slip at peak torque
