This has been brought up in the past but its an old thread:

http://www.romraider.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1454l

Clearly there isn't a lot of interest in people wanting to be able to use their cruise control over 89 mph but I've got a couple friends that frequently travel to Texas where some highways have 85 mph speed limits and they'd like to be able to set the cruise control a bit over the limit of 89 mph.

The "other" popular tuning solution has this defined but these guys are running OS tunes.

If anyone is interesting in digging this out I would appreciate it and be willing to test. The roms I need it for are:

AE5I910V
AE5K611V

Thanks!

Can do - I've dug them out before (for AZ1G101N). Give me a couple of days till I'm back in town.

Hitachi ecu has CruiseCancel < CruiseEnableMin < CruiseEnableMax.
Usually 32\37\250 kph for Europe, 32\35\105 for Japan.

It look like this is not as simple as an apple pie..

There should be CruiseCancel/CruiseEnableMin/CruiseEnableMax
All those values are looking to be related to CruiseControl:

Thanks!

What is the difference between two sets of high and low values? Are they used under different conditions such as cruise/non-cruise?

I assume I should just raise both, right?

Does this looks right:

Code:
BASE:

cruise control high limit

         <data>Disable above</data>

cruise control high limit

         <data>Disable above</data>

AE5K611V:

There's a switch that determines which set of Max/Min limits are used.

I don't know what the switch value is and where it is created at this stage but I can't see any reason why you cant alter both limits.

Your deff's look good but I'm not a 100% on ECU flash deff's, no harm in trying them though.

AT\MT set is chosen according to ATident pin value ( AT if disconnected\ MT if grounded, software switch 1\0 ) or hardcoded just before CruiseRelatedValues are used in AT and MT specific ecu's where AT ident pin is not impemented.

Accordingly the first values are for AT, the second ones are for MT transmission in your example.

More recent ecu uses additional switches.

Hi guys,
I have -05 JDM Legacy GT.
As it has been transferred from Japan to Europe, I would like to have this same functionality
(cruise more than 105 kph) to my car as well (A2ZJ600B). Any chance of enabling this setup
to my car as well ? I can deliver the ROM if needed for example via e-mail.

Br,
Pete

I believe this to be match to my ecu rom.
