Just a sneak peak at what I've been working on.......
Attachment:
Untitled.jpg

Additive A These parameters basically all get multiplied together and get added to requested torque when certain thresholds are met. The single float value is only used when in Si-Mode S#.
Attachment:
Untitled1.jpg

Additive B same as Additive A but different thresholds need to be met.
Attachment:
Untitled2.jpg

Threshold A and B These values get multiplied together to form two thresholds used to determine if Additive A or B is used.

This is all very Alpha!!! I still need to go through it again to verify it, tuned correctly I believe we could utilise these tables to give true per gear boost control. The stock tables are setup to give less requested torque in lower gears kind counter intuitive I think? Though I guess they have done this for drivability reasons.

Interesting - trying to get my head around tuning implications...

The requested torque can be halved progressively as iam goes lower. That will be an obvious limp mode that even a 1 bar actuator on 18g will notice. Previously we can only get wastegate control to go 0 and a fuel safe mode. Awesome find! Question on my head now is if its in AZ1G101N ;-)

Yes, it is - I've seen this table before in AZ1G101N - I obviously did not appreciate the possibilities :)

Argh I'm so excited but need to head out for work ATM haha (ok I updated anyway :roll: ). Thanks Oren ! Easty appreciate you posting these.

Code:
<table name="Table Torque Multiplier IAM" category="Drive-by-Wire Throttle (DBW)" address="DD404" type="3D" level="1" scaling="RequestedTorque(rawecuvalue)">
<table name="IAM" address="DD3EC" type="X Axis" elements="3" scaling="IgnitionAdvanceMultiplier(IAM)"/>
<table name="Engine Speed" address="DD3F8" type="Y Axis" elements="3" scaling="RPM"/>

Based on my dbw torque tables, here's what I came up with.

I would suggest 110, 270, 430
270 resulting in no WOT for you which makes it hard to achieve boost even with a 1bar actuator ;)

Did I limp it too much? haha I'll still have to test, swap it out with 430 column. Also want to see how it reacts with the avo dbw controller that affects requested torque values. Thanks mate 8)

I was the same to be honest I found this table almost a year ago now but didn't see the value in it!
I figured boost control disable IAM was adequate until I was reading a post about the pros and cons of installing a bigger wg actuator.

I really wouldn't call this table "Table Torque Multiplier IAM" as is sets requested torque limit much like the per gear limit tables do.

I took another look at the per gear requested torque additive stuff today and it works this......

Is vehicle speed above 4km/h(disable bellow 3k's enable above 4k's) and is requested torque greater than threshold A whilst in gear with clutch engaged, then apply additive A.

If all of the above conditions are met and (requested torque plus additive A) exceeds threshold B then then apply additive B instead.

Seems like a very complicated way of doing things!

Both additives are added directly to requested torque without any kind of blending I imagine this would be detrimental to drivability.

I'm considering zeroing out the speed threshold, A and B thresholds and Additive B. And adjusting additive A to give slightly more requested torque in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear.

Its a shame these are additives and not multipliers though that's easy enough to fix. :wink:

It took a while, and then the light bulb switched on for me :) This is especially important for me, since I use an external EBCS that bypasses the ECU. Will be interesting to see what MFB comes back with.

Agreed - I'll use the labels and definitions that you post up.

td-d if you wish to check out the per gear additives the two routines following the requested torque limit IAM routine are the ones to look at.

Confirming that this limits torque request based on current IAM condition. Now for the other tables, are those in AZ1G101N? Btw a 30 max torque request with iam 0 only makes the foz rev up to 1500 rpm at wot LOL
